After Hours Clinic

For many patients, finding an urgent care center during regular daytime weekday hours is relatively easy. Most family practice, internal medicine and pediatric offices and clinics offer some availability for walk-in patients, although waiting times for those without prior appointments may be excessive. For patients who are fatigued, in pain, or experiencing nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or other symptoms, sitting in the waiting room may be less than ideal.

Finding an after hours clinic is often more challenging since most facilities close by 5 pm. After hours clinics are scarce in many locations, and patients may see the emergency room as their only viable option for urgent care after hours. In San Francisco Bay Area, for example, patients are surprised to learn that after hours clinics are rare.

While some after hours clinics may remain open until 7pm, most have more limited hours. Patients commonly resort to the emergency departments for their after hours clinic urgent care. Unfortunately, waiting times are generally prolonged because ER's tend to become busier during these times. While waiting, ER situations may change each moment because of the arrival of sicker patients and other emergencies. This is not to mention the added cost factor.

Emergency room and hospital fees are generally much higher than outpatient care, by a significant multiple. For patients with high deductible insurance policies, and for those who lack insurance altogether, the ER may present a frightening option.

Lastly, the ER can be a challenging environment for a sick patient. Patients may be exposed to other sick patients, "superbugs", and even the unruly behavior of the inebriated. For the protective parent, the ER waiting room may be the place to stay on guard.

A new, highly convenient and affordable and safe option is now available for patients in place of the after hours clinic. Housecalls services brings the physician and clinic directly to patients, wherever there are. The house call doctors evaluate and treat patients at home, in hotel rooms, workplace, businesses, and elsewhere.

Such practitioners bring the whole to you. Medications, injections, IV fluids, stitching, splinting and more are available during the house call. Even x-rays, instant blood tests, strep tests, urine tests and more may be provided on site. Patients of all ages are treated by these house call providers, including children. They are highly experienced in emergency and urgent care.

How to Record a 10-Hour Study Course in 10 Hours

Getting the education or skills needed to solve a pressing issue or realize certain goal can be a daunting task for those people who have regular day jobs or those who are always on-the-go. This is why home study courses or programs are extremely popular these days. They provide online users the chance to get additional education conveniently, quickly, and most importantly, affordably.

If you're an information marketer, I wish to help you create your own 10-hour study course in just 10 hours. Sounds impossible? You'll be happy to know that it isn't. Here's what you need to do:

First thing to do is to identify the things that you can use to put together a 10-hour study course. You can use the content of your ebooks, the seminars that you've recorded, or a part of your CD and DVD series. Through this, you'll be able to save so much time. Create an outline. After gathering the materials that you can use, create an outline for your study course. Start by listing down the objectives or the goals of the program. Ensure that they're realistic and measurable. Also, ensure that these goals will be met at the end of the course. Then, list down the topics you're going to cover. Decide ahead of time if you're going to ask your clients to do hands-on practice. Provide them with tools that they'll need to use. Use high quality recording tools. Invest on getting high quality microphones and recording tools to ensure the quality of your study course. When buying for supplies, make sure that you test as many products and brands as possible to easily make well-informed decision. It will also help if you ask other people for recommendations. Start recording. Get a nice, quiet place where you can do your recording. If you have the money to spare, rent a studio near your area. This will ensure the quality of your recordings. Most of the studios will allow you to rent their equipment as well. If that's not an option, convert a room in your house into a recording studio. There are do-it-yourself guide available online on how you can sound proof it. Then, get the equipment you need. Here's how you can record your study course: Start by telling your audience what the course is all about. Give them the list of information that you'll be giving out and explain how these can help them realize their goals or solve their pressing issues. Listen to the first part of your recording before you continue. Ensure that you do not capture annoying noises that can ruin the listening experience of your clients. Continue by explaining your topics thoroughly. Do not assume that your clients know something about your subject already. Explain your ideas as if you're talking to people who are clueless and do not skip anything no matter how obvious they may seem to you. Use conversational tone. Make your recording sound interesting and engaging by simply using conversational, friendly tone. Using your sense of humor will also help. Ask questions from time to time, get your clients to do hands-on practice, and share relevant experiences and stories. If you focus on recording your study course, it will take you less than 10 hours to complete it especially if you don't have to write the content from the scratch.

5 Great Tips to Learning Spanish

Have you noticed a certain linguistic trend happening in the United States lately? More and more of our population speaks English as their secondary language. Most of the time their primary language is Spanish.

No matter what your ideas or opinions are about the national language or the incumbrance of Spanish speaking individuals, there is no arguing with the fact that learning Spanish can be very useful in our culture right now.

That is why many people have taken on this goal to learn Spanish. If you are one of those, then here are 5 great tips to learning Spanish:

1. Get Some Language CDs: There are a lot of great digital Spanish courses out there on CD. Many of these are a bit on the spendy side, but think about the investment you are making. The CDs are great because they can take you through the Spanish learning process one step at a time, and they are always there to review with when you need extra work on certain areas.

2. Take a Class: Find a local college or organization offering beginning Spanish classes. Sometimes there are even classes at local high schools and junior highs that are meant for adults. Most communities see the benefits of teaching Spanish, and have opportunities out there for you to take advantage of.

3. Watch Spanish Channels on TV: This might sound silly, but if you ask most individuals who speak English as their secondary language, chances are one of the ways they caught on to big parts of the English vernacular and slang was through television. Once you have a slight grasp on the Spanish language, turn on one of the Spanish channels and see how much you can pick up. You could do this with English subtitles to make sure you are filling in all the blanks.

4. Take a Vacation: Head to somewhere that has Spanish as their primary language. Talk with the locals and spend time listening to them. Being immersed in this kind of environment can help you to put everything you learned in your personal study to the test. It takes practice, and what better place to practice than somewhere everyone speaks that language?

5. Practice!: Practice makes perfect. Learning a language is no exception. Take full days where you only speak Spanish. Find people you can talk with regularly to help you. Look for Spanish books to read. Just open your eyes and find ways to practice what you have learned in your personal study.

Everyone has a different learning style, but we are pretty certain that if you utilize these 5 tips to learning Spanish, you will be able to call yourself bi-lingual in no time.

When things get tough and you feel discouraged, just think of all the areas of your life that will be enhanced by your ability to speak the primary language of a good chunk of our population.

Feast & Famine - How Do You Avoid the Business Highs and Lows?

When you first start up in business, you have an empty diary and all the time in the world to get working on your marketing plan.

After all, if you haven't got any clients or customers, what else are you going to spend your time on?

Then your marketing starts to work, your leads turn in to paying customers and your time is taken up with delivering the business. Marketing takes a back seat and you think "Whey hey, I've cracked this one!"

But, then over time your projects come to an end and your customers have bought all they want to buy.

Help! The work is drying up and you are suddenly kicked backed in to a marketing frenzy.

Marketing is often one of the first things to drop off someone's to-do-list when business gets busy. As your inbox starts to build up and your phone constantly rings, it just makes it impossible to find the time to follow your marketing plan.

And I think this is where a lot of the challenges lie with starting and growing a new business from home. I remember being told about "the feast and the famine" that would inevitably happen when I became self-employed. It's one of those stories that once you hear it, you start to believe it. And of course, you more you believe it, you more you live it's story.

But, I think the feast and famine is an urban myth!

You see, you will never have enough hours in the day. As you grow your business, you are naturally going to have less time in your week to be able to attend networking events and follow up every single sales lead effectively.

You will be spending more time with your clients or delivering your products to your customers because your marketing is beginning to work.

But does that mean that you stop spending time on your marketing?

Well, yes to be honest. And the critical word in that sentence is the word "you".

"You" time is precious and if you want your business to continue to grow, then you need to start thinking now about how you are using "you" time.

Just because you are busy with clients and customers, doesn't mean that your business stops spending time on marketing. Oh, no. You need to focus on how your marketing can carry on without "you" spending as much of your time on it.

How do you go about this?

Well, there are three foundation stones to ensure your business doesn't get caught in the feast and famine cycle.

1. Systemisation - What most people don't realise is that marketing is a process. When done well, systems can be created so that each step in the process can be ticked off and measured. For example, a personal trainer may set up an enquiries process that every enquiry goes through, from asking a set number of questions at the initial phone call stage which includes finding out how they got to know about them through to asking for a testimonial on the fourth session and two referrals when they are on their sixth session.

The personal trainer doesn't have to forget about asking where the client was referred from, for a testimonial or for future referrals because the simple system is designed to ensure this happens.

2. Delegation - Once your systems are created, you will discover that many of the processes you follow can actually be delegated to someone else. You don't actually have to be the one who delivers it. For those of you who are scared of delegation (and to be honest, I will be the first one to admit I have found this to be a very scary process!), delegation doesn't have to mean that you employ someone.

Virtual Assistants can work by the hour and be anywhere in the world to help you follow your marketing systems. Sending out standardised emails to enquires in your name from your email account can be sent out by a Virtual Assistant. Phone calls can be diverted and answered by a switch board service. You can even begin to outsource marketing activities such as writing and sending out your email newsletters, submitting articles to online directories and posting out direct mail campaigns - the possibilities are endless!

3. Automation - Because some of the best marketing is process driven, this also means that much of your marketing can be automated. Let me spell this out to you. Much of your marketing on a day-to-day basis can be done automatically, any time, any place and any where. It can happen when you sleep. It can happen when you are with clients. It can happen when you are sitting on that beach this summer.

By using cheap and easy to use web-based tools you can be collecting contact details for your database, gathering critical information from a customer survey, taking orders for products and services, selling tickets for workshops and converting enquires in to sales.

Now, OK. I know, I know! Much of what I have written here can feel like a huge mountain to climb.

And, I am not telling you this is going to be easy. Creating a successful (and profitable!) business is not easy. If it was that easy, everyone would be running a successful business from home, wouldn't they?

But that's not why you started one, is it?

If you wanted the easy life, you would have stayed in corporate life or have gone and stacked shelves at Tesco.

Making a decision to ensure your marketing is systemised, delegated and automated is easy but following it through can be tough. And this is why you have to break everything down in to smaller, more do-able steps so that over time, you will have a business that is systemised, delegated and automated. A business that runs itself and you only have to turn up when you want to! Now, wouldn't that be lovely.

5 Simple Steps to Turn You Into an Elite Forex Trader

These 5 simple steps will help turn you into a confident, disciplined Forex trader. By using the steps outlined below you can be in the top 10% of all Forex traders. That would be the few that actually make money.

There are going to be two things you notice about these steps:.

They are obvious.

They are simple.

All aspects of Forex trading should fall into those two categories. In fact, one of the biggest mistakes I see Forex traders make is trying to learn and use too much.

However, that is for a different discussion. Back to the 5 simple steps.

Step 1 - Get Yourself Ready To Trade

In my experience with hundreds of traders I have been amazed with how few of them know how to get their game faces on.

They forget trading is a job. The greatest one in the world, but a job nonetheless. It's difficult for them to be self motivated. Like the majority of the world they need someone over their shoulder telling them what to do.

So, find anything in or around you that can be used to prepare to trade.

Take a shower

Drink coffee

Stretch

Read a book

Do Yoga

Anything to clear your mind

Once your mind is clear, move on to Step 2.

Step 2 - Look over your last few trades

Your trading success, just like the Forex itself, will have momentum and patterns. As you gain experience you will learn to see YOUR patterns. You might catch yourself making the same mistakes time and time again.

As you will learn later, you should be keeping a journal of all your trades. I don't mean the records that come with your trading software. Your journal should be as specific as it can be.

Why did I enter a trade? Why did I exit a trade? Was I near support? Was I near resistance?

Just to mention a few of the questions that your journal should answer for every trade. Take note of any repeated mistakes you have made over the last few trades.

Once you have recognized any trading trends, move on to Step 3.

Step 3 - Fundamental and Technical Analysis

Fundamental analysis refers to anything other then price action. In our case it means news.

Technical analysis refers to anything that is related to price action. Price itself, formulas, patterns, etc....

There is a reason why I mention both of those in one step. I wouldn't waste an entire step on fundamental analysis. It doesn't take me 3 minutes. I look to see what piece(s) of news are being released today in order to determine what kind of volatility to expect in the upcoming session.

This helps me when determining which support and resistance levels I expect to come into play.

As far as technical analysis goes. I don't care what tools, indicators, charts you look at. However, be consistent. Don't use MACD and CCI one night, and RSI and Stochastics another. Don't keep changing the length of your moving averages, or switch from simple to weighted to exponential.

The fact is, find what makes the most sense to you. I think it's great to understand what these indicators mean, but there is no need to over analyze.

I would like to add one thought here...use Fibonacci Lines.

Once you have finished your analysis, both fundamental and technical, move on to Step 4.

Step 4 - Money Management (Determine your trade size)

You should have a very well defined money management system. For example, never risk more then 4% / 5% / 10% of your account on one trade. Increase your trade size by one mini for every $400 / $800 / $1,200 in profit.

It has always astonished me how randomly some traders make these decisions. They change their approach day after day. This is a sure fire path to failure.

Determine what makes the most sense to you and stick with it.

Again, I'd like to add in a thought here. You shouldn't be trading a live account until you can consistently make money in a demo account. At least 2 straight weeks of profit, and not because you made $10,000 one day while losing money in 9 out of 10 days. So, assuming you are trading a live account, adjust your position size to meet your predetermined formula.

Once you have determined your trade size, move on to Step 5

Step 5 - Make the Trade!!!

You have done all your homework. You have used all your skills and knowledge. The only thing left is to make the trade.

By now, you know exactly what you expect to happen with the currency pair you are watching. You just have to stay patient until your opportunity arises.

However, once it does, pounce on it like a lion on its prey. Do not hesitate when you see exactly what you expected to see.

Be sure, of course, to place a stop order either with your entry order or immediately after. Also, if you have one, be sure to place your profit target.

Once you enter or exit your trade, start writing. Record your trade in a journal, with all reasons for entry and exit. Be as specific as possible. You will be amazed how much valuable information you will gather over time.

Using these 5 steps you should be able to make drastic strides in your Forex trading. If, however, you are not comfortable with any part of your trading it is imperative that you consider a Forex trading course.

Remember, you are only as good as your knowledge and your knowledge is only as good as your education.

Goal Setting - My Disappointing Discovery

Goal setting has become almost an industry in itself with countless books and techniques available online and in published form promising to help you achieve your most cherished desires. I have read many articles and looked at many products in the course of keeping up-to-date in my profession.

In much of the material, authors refer to a study apparently conducted at Yale University in 1953 in which the graduating class were asked if they had clear, written goals. 3% of the students said they had written goals, 13% had goals they had not written down and 84% had no clear goals.

At the class reunion 20 years later, further investigation is said to have discovered that the 3% with written goals were worth more than the other 97% put together!

A striking story indeed, and one which is commonly used to illustrate the power and necessity of writing down goals. I was planning to use it on my website and decided that I needed to know more about this fascinating study. It was a disappointment, therefore, that on looking into it more closely, a simple search on Google brought up many claims that the so-called research never in fact took place and that the source of the statistics cannot be found!

So that has blown my fabulous introduction to goal setting for my coaching and courses! It does not, however, affect my responsibility to my clients to ascertain before they embark on coaching that their goals are realistic and achievable at the same time as being challenging and exciting.

Horse Training Tips, Correcting the Spooky Horse

I have been a horse nut for as long as I can remember. I had owned a number of horses which I had some training to do on each horse after my purchase. But it wasn't until I purchased a totally untouched horse, raised in the wild that I had the challenge to correct a horse that was prone to flight. It took me a while to correct and thankfully my horse, myself and others around him never got hurt in the process. I hope this article will help you correct this problem in your horse, quickly and without injuries.

I was tired of retraining horses and tired of trying to fix a problem that someone else had created in a horse that I purchased for my own. So in order to fix this problem I found a yearling that had been field bred and spent the first year of his life in the Cascade mountains. He was untouched and totally wild. I negotiated his price, and an agreement to get him to the sellers home with the understanding that I have the use of her round pen for 2 weeks.

The first four to five days it seemed as though there was little to no progress made, but on day 6 I started to see improvement and by day 14 I had him in a straight load trailer without a fight. I was truly amazed that an animal so wild just 2 weeks before could be transformed in 14 days with just 2 to 3 hours a day of slow gentle work on my part.

This was just the beginning of many years of training. He is now 12 years old and is a wonderful trail horse and a true companion of mine. He is not fully trained as I don't think any horse, at least any of my horses ever are. I believe in the saying, "always be training", and I always will be. He is smart and gentle now but he was a problem to get the flight instinct out of him and make him use his brain. I would work with him and think I had him fixed until a turkey would fly up on the trail and suddenly I was without a horse under me!

A flighty horse has to be fixed and until he is, the horse will be dangerous to handler, rider and the people that are around him as well as dangerous to himself. The final straw was when I was camping, I got two horses saddled and ready to go for a ride, I tried them to a hitching post and went to the outhouse. When I came out I noticed that something was bothering my horse, I don't know what, could have been a horsefly or something. I started over to him at a quick walk so I could untie him and find out what was going on. As I got to him, and before I could get the quick release knot untied he exploded. Now this is a big horse, about 1400 pounds, at a standing position he sprung off the ground like he sprouted wings. He came down on the hitching post which broke off at each end and was now a log tied to him which scared him even more and he took off. Now my other horse is still tied to the log and as he takes off she has no choice but to follow. There I was watching my two horses running off in the camp with a log between them. What a wreck!

From this story you can see that something very slight can create a terrible situation and a flighty horse needs to be corrected before these things happen. This was the hardest thing to correct in this horse and I attribute it to the first year of his life when he had real predators like bears and mountain lions. It took a lot to get him to think before flight but I did get that result and so can you.

Here is the horse training lesson in my online library that will fix this problem and a few others in the process. As with most things in horses, fix one thing and it will have an effect on other problems and other benefits to your horse training. Exercise Your Grandparents Rights - Visitation is Set

Often times when a couple goes through a divorce, the situation can become a tumultuous affair. While grandparents are not usually considered in the custody proceedings, there may be times that they will petition the courts for visitation rights if the couple can not agree on certain matters.

If you have been given grandparents rights to visitation, you will need to make sure you exercise those rights and fight to see your grandchildren, especially in a time they could need you them most. Here are some ideas of how you can get the most out of your time allowed.

Depending on the circumstances of how you were awarded your grandparents rights, the family unit may not be stable. If you have had to participate in court to defend the rights of your grandchildren against one of the child's parents, who in turn could be your own child; there may very well be some resentment and anger issues rising to the surface. Make sure that you stick to the times you were appointed from the courts to see your grandchildren. Never start a squabble in front of your grandchildren regardless of any ill feelings you or your own child may have.

Never speak ill of the parents to your grandchildren. Instead spend the time you have with them, sharing in their likes and making it a time where they can be stress free if only for awhile. some parents may think that grandparents rights are not as important as their own. It is your job to make sure that for the sake of your grandchildren, you can still be a part of their life to offer support and comfort at a time they may need you the most. Depending on your state of residence and what the terms of your court agreement were, you may have more time or less time than you had before your child divorced and your lives where spun into turmoil.

Making sure that you utilize every moment you can to help your grandchildren cope, adjust and remain emotionally stable, will be a key factor in the future of their lives and how they relate to a family of their own. You have the chance to be a hero for your grandchildren. In a time where parents are more than likely trash talking each other, trying to prove they are the better parent by working too hard, or even becoming withdrawn unable to deal with their own emotions; they may be oblivious to the emotional roller coaster ride their own children endure. Exercising your grandparents rights by being available in any way possible, by phone, email, online chat or in person at any time your grandchildren may need to talk, or just have fun, should be a top priority to show how much they mean to you.

To stay strong and offer the best support for your grandchildren you can, you may want to join a forum with other grandparents who are seeking their grandparents rights for visitation and sharing their hopes, ideas and experiences. You can easily do a Google search to find a few. Once you have learned other coping methods used by others, you may find the peace and strength to help be the best support for your grandchildren.
